24 hours around Sydney
3 October 2013
Only a day to spend in Sydney? Ninemsn crammed as much as possible into 24 hours and provided this handy checklist.
-
- For Breakfast, why not start your day with some granola at Forbes and Burton at Taylor Square
- For the artistically minded, why not stop in at the design and craft gallery Object on Oxford St
- Next up, a walk around Hyde Park and The Domain
- Mrs Macquarie’s Chair is your next stop, followed by a stroll along the harbour to the Opera House
- Artspace in Woolloomooloo is one of the quieter galleries and worth a look
- For lunch, catch a ferry to McMahons Point to dine at Sails Restaurant
- Head for Bronte Beach in the afternoon and walk along the coast all the way to Bondi for an afternoon dip
- Far an aperitif, Surry Hills is your destination, followed by informal dining at Potts Point
- Then move along to Darlinghurst, where Dr Pong will keep you company whilst you relax for the rest of the evening with a beer and a game of table tennis
