Can’t wait to get trackside at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600? If you’re planning to be by the ocean to see the action from the 20th to the 22nd of October, make sure you’ve prepared for all the high-octane adventures you can pack in at Surfers Paradise.
What’s on at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 in 2017?
Three days of street racing by the beach, that’s what! Events include the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series, Aussie Racing Cars, the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup. There’s also the PIRTEK Enduro Cup finale, which sees two 300km races completing 2100km of gruelling endurance racing across Australia. As if that wasn’t enough, there will be helicopter rides over the track, an 18+ day club and motorbike stunt teams pulling awe-inspiring aerial moves.
Live music on the Gold Coast
Even if cars aren’t your thing and you’re coming along to the event with a motorhead friend or family member, the live music alone makes it worth the visit. Beautiful Broadwater Parklands will be home to a bunch of live acts and best of all, access to them all is included with your Gold Coast 600 ticket. On Friday the 20th Delta Goodrem will be headlining along with supporting acts. You can buy concert-only tickets to this event and kids under 12 will get in for free with a paying adult. On the Saturday evening your racing ticket also gets you into Broadwater Sounds presented by Sea FM, with the Hilltop Hoods, Violent Soho, Montaigne and Dean Lewis promising a huge night.
