Gold Coast Family Fun For Less
4 June 2014
Since when did fun become something expensive? If you are heading to the Gold Coast, keeping the whole family entertained doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. The Herald Sun had a great list for creating a memorable family holiday for less than $250 a day. Here are some of the top ideas:
Cruise around on electric bikes – Grab a bike from funbike.com.au and spend the day exploring the local areas before digging in to some delicious, locally-caught seafood with chips. Hire starts from just $29 a bike for two hours. Family packages are available.
Planet Chill – Why not rug up for a change and head to Planet Chill, an ice-skating rink in Surfers Paradise. You can book a session for just $20 per person.
Miami Marketta – Check out these markets on a Saturday evening from 4pm onwards. You can try delicious cuisine from all over the world.
Broadwater Parklands– The Broadwater Parklands is a free community and cultural parkland located on Broadwater in Southport. There’s plenty of fun activities to do here including visiting the Rockpools Water Park. If you enjoy fishing, there’s a great spot for that here too.
Regardless of your budget, there’s no excuse not to have a fun-filled holiday with your family on the Gold Coast.
