Great Food On the Gold Coast

Monday June 2nd, 2014

Queensland has so much to offer food and wine lovers, not to mention coffee connoisseurs. According to the Herald Sun, there’s a few restaurants and cafes you need to add to your ‘to do’ list on your next trip north.
Located at Burleigh Heads, Oskars has been a permanent fixture for two decades and it has built a reputation for itself as something rather special. With stunning views and modern, innovative cuisine, it’s the ideal location to enjoy a long lunch or a sunset dinner.

Surf clubs are everywhere along the coast line of Queensland. They’re a great option for families because they are often well-priced, are close to the beach and offer free entertainment for the whole family. The Northcliffe Supporters Club in Surfers Paradise is a great place to check out if you’re on holiday with the family. It boasts beautiful beach views and has a real family friendly atmosphere.

Love a good high tea? Why not try the Le Jardin lobby restaurant at Palazzo Versace? The sweet delights here are incredible and the coffee and tea selection won’t disappoint.

Fish and chips is a must when you’re on a beach holiday and Peter’s Fish Market located at Main Beach has a great range of fresh produce that speaks for itself. If you’d like to cook something yourself, you can also buy deliciously fresh fish here and take it home to BBQ.
