Sydney’s Most Amazing Water Features

3 August 2013

One of the lovely things about living in Sydney is visiting the numerous water features seen throughout the city. Some have historical significance while others are merely aesthetically appealing. Some of the most popular water features include Lake Northam Fountain located in Victoria Park and Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park.
The El Alamein Memorial Fountain located at Kings Cross is a war memorial and a fountain of breathtaking beauty. The Martin Place Water Fountain has been seen in movies such as Superman Returns and The Matrix, while the Barry Wilde Bridge Fountain was the first bridge fountain in all of Australia and just the third in the entire world.

A unique water feature is the Dancing Brolgas Fountain located in Darling Harbour. It features twelve gorgeous bird sculptures. A fun sight for kids is the Tumbalong Park Fountain, another beautiful fountain found in Darling Harbour.
