New Ways to Pay on the Gold Coast Light Rail

Smart Ticketing has arrived on the Gold Coast, making payment for the G:link even easier!

Instead of having to use a go card or buy a paper ticket, visitors to the Gold Coast can now pay for their adult fare on the light rail by using a Visa, Mastercard or American Express contactless debit or credit card, smartphone or smart watch.

Hotel guests are reminded to keep using a go card, or purchase a paper ticket if they are continuing a journey on another mode of transport (such as a bus or train) or those wanting to travel on a concession fare.

For more information on transport within Queensland, including ticketing, visit translink.com.au
