Elevate Business Stays Terms and Conditions

Effective 1 July 2026

Important: Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Elevate Business Stays is a Program offered by Meriton Suites. Meriton Suites are owned and operated Meriton Property Services Pty Ltd. ABN 69 115 511 281, an Australian registered company with headquarters at Level 11, 528 Kent St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. The Company owns and conducts business under the registered business name “Meriton Suites.”

The Program and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Meriton Suites. Meriton Suites may assign or transfer any rights or obligations under this Program, at any time.

About these terms 

These Terms and Conditions are for the Elevate Business Stays program. Your participation in the Program will be governed by these Terms and Conditions and any applicable laws or regulations. It is the enroller’s responsibility to read and understand them. We ask that you read them carefully.

The general Meriton Suites Terms and Conditions can be found here.  These Meriton Suites Terms and Conditions (including the Hotel Conditions of Sale) apply to any reservation made through Elevate Business Stays. By making a reservation through Elevate Business Stays, you agree to be bound by these Meriton Suites Terms and Conditions including the Hotel Conditions of Sale, where relevant.

When these terms apply to you 

These Terms and Conditions apply to you if you have enrolled in the Elevate Business Stays program.

Changes in The Program Terms & Conditions and Program Rights: 

Meriton Suites reserves the right to modify, alter, or otherwise update the Terms and Conditions for the Program, and to modify, suspend, or cancel the Program at any time, including where required to do so by law. In the event of any such changes, appropriate consideration will be given to your interests. Where the change is significant, we will provide you with prior notice. You will have the opportunity to object within fourteen (14) days. Insofar as your enrolment continues without objection after the enactment of changes, this signifies your consent to the new Terms & Conditions. If you object to the change within the allotted time period, you will be disenrolled by the Program Operator in accordance with item 5.1.3.

The “last updated” date set forth at the end of these Terms and Conditions indicates when changes have been made, and it is your responsibility to review changes to the Terms and Conditions regularly. By remaining in the Program after the date on which changes are made to the Terms and Conditions, you are agreeing to those changes and affirming your agreement to comply with all the Terms and Conditions, as updated. The current Elevate Business Stays Terms and Conditions supersede all prior published Elevate Business Stays Terms and Conditions.

1.Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

“We”, “our”, “us” and “Meriton Suites” means the Company and where the context requires or permits includes its related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)).

“You” and “your” means Enrolled Companies or Enrolled Employees.

“Company” means Meriton Property Services Pty Ltd ABN 69 115 511 281.

“Corporate Rate” means a special hotel nightly room rate that is only available to Enrolled Companies when they book directly through Elevate Business Stays.

“Enrolled Company” means a company that has been approved by the Program Operator to be enrolled in the Program.

“Program” means Elevate Business Stays.

“Hotel Room Night” and “Hotel Stay”: A Hotel Room Night means each individual night of a stay at any Meriton Suites Hotel. A ‘Hotel Stay’ means all consecutive nights that a member stays at a Hotel.

“Program Operator” means Meriton Suites

“Terms and Conditions” mean these terms and conditions which apply to Enrolled Companies.

 

2. Participating Hotels

The participation hotels includes all 23 Meriton Suites locations across Australia for all suite types including the Penthouse Collection.

Hotel properties and suite types that are part of the participating Program may be added or removed at Meriton Suites discretion.

 

3. Enrolment

3.1 Company enrolment 

Company enrolment will be determined by the Program Operator (at its sole discretion). Consideration may be given to the current or estimated number of room stays made by the company in a given financial year.

3.2 Cost 

The Elevate Business Stays program is free to join.

3.3 Marketing & Communications 

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, individuals agree to receive exclusive offers and program information via email communication. Enrolled companies may elect not to receive promotional communication by using the unsubscribe functionality within the communication received, or by contacting the Elevate Business Stays team at [email protected]

3.4 Eligibility 

By participating in the Program and taking advantage of its benefits, you agree to the following:

  1. That you are an Australian or New Zealand company with a valid ABN, NZBN or ACN
  2. To maintain and use only one Elevate Business Stays account at any time
  3. That you have provided current and valid contact information
  4. That your name as shown on your registration matches your legal identification
  5. That you only have one email address for your account
  6. That you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your state or province of residence, whichever is older
  7. That you meet the minimum eligible stayed room nights per tier in a given financial year
  8. That you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions

3.5 Enrolment: 

Companies may enrol in the Program by completing the required information on the Program website. By enrolling in the Program and using your registered account, you will have access to Corporate Rates, as described item 4 below.

During the Elevate Business Stays enrolment process, a company will be asked to provide:

  • first name;
  • last name;
  • title;
  • email address;
  • phone;
  • company name and ABN;
  • company address;
  • travel preferences; and
  • anticipated number of room nights per year

and to agree to:

  • these Terms and Conditions;
  • Meriton Suites Privacy Policy; and
  • receiving Elevate Business Stays news and special offers (individuals can opt-out at any time)

This Program is not for travel agents, wholesalers, group stays or any individual or company that intends to resell, package or distribute booked accommodation in any way.

3.6 Activation of enrolment

Following the successful completion of the enrolment as outlined in 3.5, the company will be contacted by a member of the Elevate Business Stays sales team with a registration code.

3.7 Member Contact Information:  

Enrolled companies are responsible for keeping their profile information current.

Meriton Suites has the right to terminate an account and/or revoke any Program benefits if an account is suspected of being related to fraudulent or abusive activity.

3.8 Data Protection:  

3.8.1 Use of Information 

You consent and authorise Meriton Suites to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose of administering your enrolment and providing you with services associated with your account.

Your consent to these Terms and Conditions, including your consent to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose of administering your enrolment and providing you with services associated with your enrolment, is separate to the consent for the Meriton Suites general T&Cs.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button in the marketing email. For further information, please check our Privacy Policy.

If you withdraw your consent, we may terminate your enrolment to Elevate Business Stays.

3.9 Term of Enrolment

The term of enrolment commences from the date of enrolment to the Program until either:

  1. termination of enrolment by an enrolled company
  2. termination of enrolment by the Program Operator; or
  3. termination of the Enrolled Employee’s employment with the Enrolled Company or
  4. termination of enrolment due to no longer able to meet the minimum stayed room nights

4. Corporate Rates / Discount Rates

4.1 General

Enrolled companies have access to discounted rates. Elevate Business Stays discounts apply exclusively to the daily online rate and are only available when booking via meritonsuites.com.au and made using the unique Reservation Code.

The Program Operator does not guarantee or warrant that the discounted rates will be available at all times. Discounted rates may change from time to time and may vary by hotel location.

These discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion and are not valid on 31 December each year.

All rates displayed include GST and are non-commissionable and must not be on-sold or distributed to third parties, whether online or offline.

The primary guest of each booking made must be a current employee of the registered company.

4.2 Maximum number of rooms

A maximum daily limit of suites per hotel per day may apply.

4.3 Tiers

Members progress through the program by meeting the qualifying criteria for each tier. Tier qualification is based on the number of stayed room nights within a financial year (1 July – 30 June). At the end of each qualification period, eligible stayed room night counts reset to zero. A new qualification period will then commence, during which members can requalify for or progress to the next membership tier.

Only eligible bookings made through approved booking channels will count towards membership tier qualification. Bookings made through offline channels do not qualify and retrospective claims for previous stays will not be accepted. Eligible room nights will only be credited towards tier qualification after the stay has been completed and payment has been received in full.

There are three (3) tiers in the Elevate Business Stays program, with each tier subject to the following criteria:

  • SAPPHIRE – A minimum of ten (10) eligible stayed room nights are required in a financial year. If less than 10 stayed room nights are achieved, membership will expire and be deactivated.
  • PLATINUM– A minimum of fifty (50) eligible stayed room nights are required in a financial year. If less than 50 eligible stayed room nights are achieved during a financial year, your membership tier will be reviewed and adjusted based on the total number of eligible stayed room nights earned during that qualification period. If no eligible bookings are completed during the financial year, membership will expire and be deactivated.
  • ONYX – A minimum of one hundred (100) eligible stayed room nights are required in a financial year. If less than 100 eligible stayed room nights are achieved during a financial year, your membership tier will be reviewed and adjusted based on the total number of eligible stayed room nights earned during that qualification period. If no eligible bookings are completed during the financial year, membership will expire and be deactivated.

Tier status is reviewed on an ongoing basis. Eligible tier upgrades will be processed weekly once the qualifying criteria has been met. Tier downgrades will be assessed annually at the end of each financial year (June 30) based on the member’s activity during the review period.

4.4 Discounted Offers

Once a membership tier has been achieved, members enjoy the following discounts on all eligible future stays:

  • SAPPHIRE – 10%
  • PLATINUM – 15%
  • ONYX – 20%

Other deals, special offers and early access to sales events may be offered from time to time at the discretion of the operator and will be made available through Elevate Business Stays emails.

4.5 Housekeeping Schedule

Regardless of your membership tier, our standard housekeeping schedule applies to all stays. Housekeeping services are provided based on the length of your stay, as outlined below:

  • After every third (3) night, your suite will receive an Express Service where we will make the beds with existing linen, replace towels, replace finished amenities, stack the dishwasher and empty the rubbish
  • For stays longer than 7 nights, your suite will receive a Full Service and be fully cleaned, including all linen changed once every seven (7) days
  • No housekeeping is performed on Public Holidays and is rescheduled to the day prior or after\

 

5.Termination and Liability

5.1 Termination 

5.1.1 Meriton Suites’ right to terminate the enrolment.

If in the Program Operator’s reasonable opinion, an Enrolled Company is using their account in an abusive or fraudulent way, has failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions, has committed any unlawful act, or causes wilful damage to the Program Operator’s property (Violations), the Program Operator may at its election:

  • immediately terminate the enrolment; or
  • suspend enrolment temporarily until further notice.

Examples of a Violation include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Member’s violation of these Terms and Conditions
  2. Member’s misrepresentation of any information or any misuse of this Program
  3. Member’s violation of any national, regional, or local law or regulation in connection with the use of enrolment privileges
  4. fraud or abuse involving any portion of this Program, including but not limited to any conduct that abuses the benefits of the Program,
  5. physical, verbal, or written abuse or harassment of hotel personnel or Meriton Suites personnel,
  6. abuse/misuse of any benefits or privileges provided by the Elevate Business Stays platform, Meriton Suites website or use of such benefits or privileges in violation of the applicable terms and conditions for them,
  7. taking any other action or engaging in any other activities that are to the detriment of the Program, Meriton Suites, all as may be determined by Meriton Suites in its sole discretion, and
  8. using the Program to make financial gains in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

If an account is duplicated or unauthorised activity is discovered, Meriton Suites may suspend the enrolment until the account is secured by contacting the Elevate Business Stays sales team at [email protected].

Meriton Suites’ cancellation of an enrolment is effective immediately, and in cases of inactivity or fraudulent activity, Meriton Suites may close, suspend, or cancel the account without providing notice to the relevant company. Meriton Suites will not be responsible for failure to notify any company of cancellation of an account if the account did not contain valid contact information. In the event Meriton Suites cancels an account as permitted under these Terms and Conditions, Meriton Suites has no obligation to permit the individual or company whose enrolment was cancelled, to re-enrol in the Program.

5.1.2 Termination on death

Upon notification of the death of an Enrolled Employee, the enrolment will automatically terminate.

5.1.3 Termination by the Program Operator 

The Program Operator is entitled to terminate enrolment in the following circumstances:

(a) the Program is no longer commercially viable;

(b) there is a strategic change in direction for Meriton Suites; or

(c) if required due to factors outside of Meriton Suites control.

The Program Operator shall also have the right to terminate an account without cause upon two (2) weeks’ notice.

5.1.4 Consequences of termination

All benefits and offers will be forfeited on termination of an Enrolled Company’s account, termination of an Enrolled Employee’s account or termination of the Program. The Program Operator will have no further liability to any Enrolled Company on termination of an account or on termination of the Program.

 

6.Liability

To the extent permitted by law (and without limiting the application of the Australian Consumer Law and the Consumer Guarantees):

  • neither the Program Operator (and its related bodies corporate and Program Partners) nor you will be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind including loss of profits and loss of revenue in connection with the Program; and
  • the maximum aggregate liability of the Program Operator (and its related bodies corporate and Program Partners) in connection with the Program, whether for breach of these Terms and Conditions or in tort (including negligence) or otherwise is $10,000

 

7.General

7.1 Governing law 

These terms and conditions of the Program are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

If Enrolled Employees are consumers, the mandatory consumer protection laws of their home country shall apply irrespective of the choice of law.

Restricted by Law:

This Program or participation in it is not valid, and/or the granting of rewards or benefits is void, where prohibited or restricted by law in company’s or the individual’s home country (domicile) or locality.

 

8.Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your membership without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us of your decision to cancel your membership in a clear and unambiguous manner (e.g. by letter or email). For this, you can email [email protected] to exercise your right of cancellation. However, this is not compulsory.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise and celebrate the continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
