New Year’s Eve Celebrations in Sydney
Based on the details provided by the NSW Government, we’ve put together some frequently asked questions that will help give additional information for hotel guests with reservations on Thursday, 31st December 2020 at the following locations:

DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR A NEW YEAR’S EVE PASS TO STAY AT MERITON SUITES LOCATIONS IN SYDNEY?
No. Information provided to us by the NSW Government shows that all our Sydney CBD locations are outside both the restricted “Green Zone” and the designated “Yellow Zone”. Hotel guests DO NOT need to apply for a New Year’s Eve Pass to stay at the hotel.
Meriton Suites North Sydney is located in the “Yellow Zone”, but no permit is required to enter this location.
- Some hotel guests may require to apply for a New Year’s Eve permit if they are attending an event within the restricted “Green Zone”

CAN I STILL USE THE CAR PARK AT THE HOTEL?
Our standard car parking arrangements are still in place on New Year’s Eve. Road closures and/or limited availability in our car parks may affect hotel guests wanting to use their car. It is highly recommended that hotel guests use public transport for their journey to/from the hotel and avoid using the car to prevent any inconveniences. Each hotel location is easily accessible by public transport.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON VISITORS TO MY HOTEL SUITE?
Yes. Our standard maximum capacity limit applies to all suite types. Please view our New Year’s Eve Terms and Conditions page for more information about what limit applies to your suite type.
