To ensure your stay at Meriton Suites is an enjoyable and stress-free occasion, we have provided some additional information for your stay during the festive season. Pre-payment for the night of the 31st December 2017 will be made to the credit card used at time of reservation. All other nights are to be paid for direct to reception on arrival with a valid credit card.

Cancellations and amendments are permitted before 12-noon, 30 September 2017. Any cancellations or amendments made after 12 noon, 30 September 2017 will receive no refunds or credits. For any additional nights booked, payment and cancellations terms are noted on your confirmation.

Please Note: The above terms and conditions may differ if you have booked through a third party website, these terms will be stated on your confirmation from their website.


Arrival / Departure time:

Check-in time is after 14:00 (2pm)
Check-out time is prior to 10:00 (10am)

A relaxed checkout until 13:00 (1pm) can be arranged subject to availability at an additional fee of $60.00 – This needs to be arranged with reservations at the time of booking. Please note that if you have reserved a Penthouse Collection Suite, a relaxed checkout cannot be booked.

If this has not been arranged prior an extra night’s rate will be charged.


Baby Cots:

Baby cots are available and must be reserved at time of reservation. Due to limited availability pre-bookings are essential. Alternatively, you may bring a portable version of your own.


Bedding:

Please advise of any alternative bedding requirements 24-hours prior to arrival otherwise standard (King Bed) configurations will apply. No further action is required if your preferred bedding is King Bed/s. Bed split fees may apply.


Car Parking:

Car parking facilities are available at all locations except for Campbell St, Sydney. Car parking cannot be pre-arranged or reserved as it is on a first come first served basis. In the event the car park is full; our reception staff will help find alternate arrangements. (Parking is strictly limited, especially at Adelaide St & Herschel St in Brisbane). Street parking when available is regularly patrolled by the local authorities and we accept no responsibility if you choose to park off site.


No Excessive Noise and No Party Policy:

Meriton Suites enforces a strict No Excessive Noise No Party Policy:

Our intent, as an acccommodation provider, is for all our guests to enjoy the comfort
and facilities we offer. All visitors must leave by 23:00 (11pm) each night. Only the registered guests (limits apply) are permitted to be in the suites after this time.

Meriton Suites may evict a guest or visitor without warning, should conditions warrant. Physical abuse towards staff, residents, other guests or security
personnel will result in eviction and a life-time ban from all Meriton locations.

Our “No Noise & No Party” policy, which all guests have agreed to upon registration at the front desk will be strictly enforced.Any person(s) found to be creating excessive noise, having a party in their suite or exceeding the numbers of permitted guests, will be evicted without refund and there will be no warning given.

  • This policy includes a maximum occupancy per suite, as follows:
  • Studio / Standard / 1 Bedroom Suite- 2 persons
  • 2 Bedroom Suite- 4 persons
  • 3 Bedroom / Sub-Penthouse / Penthouse – 6 persons
  • All Meriton Suites are NON-SMOKING.

Security Bond / Credit Card Authorisation is required for all suites at check-in:

A credit card authorisation (pre-auth) will be asked for at time of check-in and will be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

  • Telephone, internet charges
  • Any breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
  • Any excessive cleaning charges, above the normal level of cleaning due to the suite being left in an unacceptable state.
  • Any recreational charge e.g. Tennis racket hire.
  • Additional servicing / cleaning charges.

We pre-authorise all credit cards upon arrival. Please note this process validates the presented credit card, and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents. We may pre-authorise a credit card for any charges we determine that the guest may be likely to consume during their stay. This may also include an amount to cover a security bond / deposit for damages. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10-days. The pre-authorisation will affect your available funds and / or spending limit. For more information on this practice we suggest the cardholder contact their card issuer.

  • The minimum amount of funds we pre-authorise is as follows:
  • Studio Suites, Standard Suites & 1-Bedroom Suites = $100
  • 2-Bedroom Suites= $200
  • 3-Bedroom Suites= $400
  • Penthouse Collection Suites = $2,000

Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount, until we process the final account on departure. This is a restriction placed on us by the bank and cannot be negotiated.


Security Bond / Credit Card Authorisation is required for Penthouse Collection Suites at check-in:

A credit card charge (bond) for all penthouse bookings will be taken at time of check in and will be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

  • Telephone, internet charges
  • Any breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
  • Any excessive cleaning charges, above the normal level of cleaning due to the suite being left in an unacceptable state.
  • Any recreational charge e.g. Tennis racket hire.
  • Additional servicing / cleaning charges.

A bond will be charged for all penthouse reservations upon arrival. Upon departure the bond will be refunded to your credit card. For domestic credit card holders this process may take up to 48 hours. If you’re an international card holder this may take longer depending on your financial institution. The minimum bond amount that is charged for Sub-Penthouse & Penthouse Suites= $2,000. Once a charge has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the charged amount, until we process the final account on departure.


Special Requests:

Whilst we aim to meet all special requests, these cannot be guaranteed. Please ensure you advise our reservations team prior to arrival if you wish to make any special requests for your stay. SPECIFIC VIEW / SUITES / FLOORS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.


Travel Insurance:

We recommend that, at the time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice. Travel insurance can be purchased at most travel agencies.


Valid Photo ID is required from all guests upon arrival:

Photo identification matching the name of the booking must be presented at time of check-in at all Meriton Suites’ properties. This is required in order to verify your identity. A current drivers license, proof of age card or a passport are all acceptable forms of photo ID and must be presented prior to check-in.


Visitors:

All visitors are required to vacate the building by 23:00 (11pm). Only registered guests up to the maximum rooming configurations can stay afterwards.

The number of visitors allowed per suite are as follows:

  • Studio / Standard / 1 Bedroom Suite – 2 persons
  • 2 Bedroom Suite – 2 persons
  • 3 Bedroom / Sub-Penthouse / Penthouse – 4 persons
